Newest Additions
- Seattle Mariners Analysis: Mariners Analysis is updated fairly regularly and when it is, the posts are long and thorough. The blog has been online since 2004 and is commentary but not photograph driven. It has an RSS feed and lots of links to buy sports tickets on the internet or by phone.
- Mariner Housewife: A Mariners devotee. She writes about the bliss, and pain, the heartbreak and staggering shock of following the Mariners. Mostly though this blog is about being unshakable in one's loyalty to one's favorite team
- The Seattle Times Mariners Blog: Author posts daily, and sometimes twice daily, all through the year but especially at the onset of spring training. His commentaries throughout the season are concise and frank. He includes lots of video and photos.
- Sox and Pinstripes: A great blog about baseball's greatest rivalry. The Boston Red Sox and the NY Yankees. Jeff Louderback has been a Sox fan since he was 7 and is a professional writer who loves going to Fenway Park more than anything in the world. Vincent Mercandetti is also a journalist, and a sports fan, but his team is the Yanks. Together these guys create a very interesting dynamic.
- Yankeesinfo.blogspot.com: Online since 2005 and authored by two writers. They try to make it a comprehensive and interesting resource for game stats, team standings, player information, gossip, debate and commentary. They succeed most of the time.
- Shea Nation: This blog is really a reference site for anything related to the NY Mets, including everything from stats, headlines, shopping, videos, message boards, players profiles, and links. It is frequently updated and covers most of the bases of "last nights game." Although not affiliated with the Mets.com he should be hired by the team to do marketing. The blog was recently nominated for a Blogger's Choice Award for Best Sports Blog.
- Inside the White Sox: Scott Reifert is the vice president of communications for the Chicago White Sox and has been with them since the early nineties, thus being part of ecstasy of winning the team's first World Series title since 1917. In his tenure the White Sox have also earned 3 division titles (1993, 2000, 2005) and the 2003 All-Star Game. He attempts to bury any bad times under the carpet yet milks all the good times for everything they are worth! The blog is insightful, is ever observant and mostly quite funny. He writes mainly about his thoughts on baseball, the White Sox and the media. Part of his job description is to maintain communication with White Sox fans, through everything from ads to polls, the world wide web and print media. He is a huge advocate of blogging and sees it as the best way to stay in touch with the fans.
- Balls, Sticks, & Stuff: A well loved Philidelphia Phillies biased weblog written by Tom Goyne, who hails from eastern PA, and treats his love of the Phillies as a professional hobby. He successfully fosters lucid discussion about his favorite team while expounding on other sports and even the entertainment industry. Balls, Sticks, & Stuff has an immensely loyal following of thousands and has made it into the "Great Book of Philadelphia Sports Lists", in the sports blogs category. The author has an impressive enough reputation that he now does radio, print, and TV interviews about his team, baseball, sports in general, and blogging. Some of his words have been recorded in the Philadelphia's Inquirer, Metro, City Paper, and 610-WIP Sports Talk Radio, as well as for SportsIllustrated.com, MLBTradeRumors.com and TheHardballTimes.com.
- MetsGrrl: Author is learning how to become a baseball fan - on the fly so to speak. She won't spew off stats and projections. She writes about what a NY Mets game feels like and looks like. It is the only authority she has. Her take on it is interesting and entertaining.
- Latino Beisbol Blog: Affiliated with 1-800-beisbol.com this Spanish weblog is frequently updated with lots of baseball themed posts.
